Esquesing Township council convened January 8 1940 at 1 30 pm with Reeve Wm A Willson and Councillors O H May Murray Edwin Harrop and George Cleave taking seats after oath of office. They approved payments for relief sanitation lighting and road work and introduced bylaws appointing health board auditors weed inspectors and assessors for 1940 with officers named.
