An auto accident on the Yonge Street highway north of Newmarket last week killed a man Monday evening as a carload of Lorne Scots Regiment soldiers from Camp Borden collided with a car carrying William J. Blackwood of Brampton who suffered a fractured skull. Corp Cecil Ogene sustained minor injuries and Sgt Alfred Collins returned to Georgetown for the holiday.
