Last Saturday night at Eir George's rectory the Countess of Strathmore Chapter LOE hosted six English children staying with relatives for the duration. A decorated tree surrounded presents as the children recalled Atlantic crossing anecdotes. Cocoa and cookies followed, then carols and a festive close.
The Peel Juniors convention at Brampton on Friday December 13 included a quiz contest won by John Bird and Craig Reid who proposed the executive slate. Speakers Dr Branton and Mr O Graham addressed Fields and Feeding topics as John Bird provided a brief meeting report.
