O Neill long ran a Main Street garage and carriage shop before retiring and selling the building to Victor Diggin.

Toronto Women Injured In Main Street Crash
Mrs Audrey Stott and Miss Margaret Annis were injured when a late model Chevrole driven by Mrs Stott rolled from a parked position at Robb's Drug Store and crashed into the Bank of Commerce corner on Georgetown Main Street. They were en route from Guelph to Toronto with Mr Stott. both women were taken by taxi to a Toronto hospital. Local Provincial Police investigation suggests charges may be considered against the driver.

Jack Gilbert Injured In Motorcycle Crash
Jack Gilbert, owner of sertoe ds, was injured in a motorcycle crash on the Cher Road near Popermag Rose while heading to town from Grey on Wednesday evening. He struck a hydro pole after hitting a bump, suffering severe internal injuries as well as leg and head injuries. He was taken to Guelph General Hospital for multiple operations.

By law bans firing weapons without police chief consent
