Hydro office break in nets 1200 as fire causes 16000 damage
Unknown intruders entered the Georgetown Hydro Commission offices early Friday, stealing 1200 from an employee and causing about 16000 in fire damage. Police and Ontario Fire Marshal investigators searched the scene. officials say interiors suffered extensive smoke damage but no records or hydro equipment were taken. Office operations are moved to 45 Guelph St. with a return expected in a month.
