Toronto District Man Dies Suddenly in Riverdale Hospital
Robert John McLaughlin, 31, a Toronto native and former Upper Canada College and University of Toronto alumnus, died suddenly from poliomyelitis contracted earlier in Riverdale Isolation Hospital. Surviving: wife Patricia Bruce, father Donald R. McLaughlin, brothers Jim and Donald, and late Army captain William G. McLaughlin. Funeral held in Toronto with interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.

Polio Claims Life Of District Man
