Nevada youths found safe in Wisconsin runaways case

A 17 year old male from Nevada and a 15 year old female from Zearing were missing since Sunday. They were found in Racine Wisconsin after a search by Story County authorities and volunteers. They are not in custody. parents authorized Racine police to take them into guardianship as runaways. A snowmobile sweep covered 144 square miles before cancellation.

Home schooling decision rests with local boards says AG

Iowa attorney general office states local school boards decide if a child may be educated at home not the State Board of Public Instruction.
