Fairbanks Campaign Tour Planned Across Indiana

Indiana races and political events described include a six day tour of Indiana by Senator Charles W. Three Lawrence County youths face forgery charges

Otto Nugent of Mitchell and his brother Joseph Nugent of Mitchell were linked to forged checks in Bedford and Radford. Otto fled but was captured after a chase and ordered to court for forgery. Albert Taylor, 17, with past Reform School ties, was arrested in Mitchell for passing a forged check on a livery stable.

A northbound E and I Railway train near Rodgers station eight miles south of Washington was halted by a fallen tree after a storm. The cow catcher deflected the obstacle, the headlight and cab were damaged, and several windows broke. The crew and passengers were shaken but unharmed.
