Local K of Pythias Roll Call Held in Odon

Monday evening a special roll call meeting of the local Lady Knights of Pythias was held. Each name called drew a brief talk and many absent members sent letters to be read. The event featured instrumental and vocal music. The Odon lodge, about 130 members strong, has existed sixteen years with only one deceased member.

Governor Hanly, arriving from Indianapolis, greeted George Abraham in Terre Haute with a warm handshake and casual charm. Abraham's two children Georgia and Orville and grandson Clarence accompanied him, and the governor cheerfully lifted the children in a reunion-like moment.
