Marsh Store Fire Destroys Borden Property Near Elnora
The Marsh store owned by Curtis Borden about four miles south of Elnora burned Friday morning. The fire was found around two o clock by a former partner, but too late to save the building and its contents valued at about 1200 with 700 insurance. A prior store at the same site burned less than a year ago under similar mysterious circumstances.

Leming and McCord Tie Wedding in Reeve Township

Walsh Arrested For Speeding In Washington
C W Walsh, a lineman for Inter State Telephone Co, came to Odon from Indianapolis two weeks ago. He was arrested in Washington Sunday for speeding on a motorcycle. The blue coat reduced his speed. he claimed the bike was out of control. In police court Mayor McCarty fined him 1 dollar and costs totaling 11 dollars, which he paid.
