A petition for funds to build seven and three fourths miles of improved roads has circulated among Madison Township residents and will be presented to the county commissioners. The plan spans several segments including Odon and Newberry roads, Willow Lick schoolhouse to Van Buren line, and extensions from Harmon Bros shop to John Sears farm along with surrounding streets.
Trustee states he will be at his office or about town on Fridays to attend township business and invites all persons with matters before the trustee to appear. The notice designates regular weekly availability for township affairs.
