More Children Die In School Months

Dr. J. N. Harty of the State Board of Health notes that during the school months from October to May, 1908, 816 of 1104 deaths among seven to fourteen-year-olds occurred, with 288 deaths in vacation time. He reports illnesses in school months about four times higher than in vacations, while deaths run about three to one in favor of the school period.
