Roy Freed Married to Verna Armstrong in Galesburg

Roy Freed formerly of Madison township married Wednesday to Verna Armstrong of Galesburg Illinois. Armstrong is the daughter of Mr and Mrs William Armstrong of Galesburg and a popular vivacious young lady with many friends. The Fried family will reside on a farm near Galesburg as their future home.

County Officials Report Fees For December To February

County commissioners approved reports of fees collected by three county officers for December January and February. Harry Van Trees recorded 618 dollars Lewis S Core 81.80 and W A Wallace 719.50. A separate March period filing shows Wallace collected 67.90 before leaving office.

Bridge contract set for April fifteenth at Haysville

Martin and Dubois counties in a joint session approved a bridge project over the east fork of White river at Haysville. Engineer Landgrebs plans call for a concrete floor with two steel spans, costing about 20 000 dollars including the approach on the Martin county side. Bids will be opened April 16 at the county seat.

Barr Township Woman Dies After Illness

Barr Township Mrs Giorgi W Hacfield age 71 dies Wednesday morning at home from paralysis of watch airs in Barr Township. She had been in an almost helpless condition since a stroke three years ago. She is survived by her husband and three grown sons.
