Masonic Fraternity Meeting Held at Masonic Temple

The Ma sonic Fraternities of the section met at the Masonic Temple in this city last Wednesday for lodge instruction and inspection by Grand Inspector H C Graham. Newberry lodge opened with the B A Degree followed by Elnora lodge in the F C Degree and Moore Lodge presenting the M M Degree. About 150 members from Newberry Plainville Elnora Lyons Worthington Jasonville and Washington attended. A banquet at the Christian church basement with six piece orchestra followed, served by the Eastern Star, before a social hour and return to the Temple for the final degree. Inspector Graham praised the meeting and attendance.

Pneumonia Ends Life of Three Year Old Cameron Ledgerwood

Cameron Ledgerwood three died at home near Mt Zion from pneumonia followed by influenza. He had been ill a short time. Funeral was held at the residence with Rev Etherton presiding. Burial was in Scotland cemetery.

Tailoring visit to showcase spring fabrics in city

Harry H. Throop of Terre Haute representing Mutual Tailoring Co of Chicago will visit Friday March 28 at Pickett Pershing & Co's Store. He will display four lines of seasonal fabrics for men and women suits and offer expert fittings from the manufacturer.

Wilmer Harmon of the S S Birmingham is home on a thirty day furlough after overseas and trans continental service. He is in good health and enjoying time with friends and relatives. Evans family moves to Oneco Illinois this Friday

Walter Evans moved his family to Oneco Illinois on Friday. Grover Jackson and family moved into Evans' house. Mrs. Susan Flinn is ill with influenza at her son’s home east of here. Mrs. Abe Chestnut visits her daughter near Farlen. Ledgerwood family ill with flu. Neeremer of Odon stayed with her daughter Mrs. Burris who was ill.

Miss Stella Wade Dies of Pneumonia at 21

Miss Stella Wade age 21 died Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock at her mother's home one and one half miles north of St Michaels church in Bogard township from pneumonia following influenza. Survived by mother Elizabeth Wade brothers Benedict and Stephen sister Sarah. Funeral Monday at St Michaels church at 9:30 burial in St Michaels cemetery.
