A town in Arkansas embraced a booster culture and formed a Booster Club to spur growth. After years of quarrel it unified, replacing a mud street with asphalt and erecting new buildings as its population doubled since the 1900 census.
The Raglesville column reports on a four week revival at the M and church ending, sick lists including Rev Henry Denbo, measles cases rising, a grandchild ill near Vincennes, and community notes on residents Daniel and Annie Kelsey, Winkelplecks, Nugent visits, a dislocated arm, and local church additions.

Mrs. D H Courtney visited C L Courtney and wife in Elnora area. Wesley Myers traveled from Eaglesville to see friends. Jessie Resler of Elnora stopped by. J K Hickey and wife visited Oscar Hackler and wife. Lois Courtney spent time with Nellie Ketchem. J C Schwartz of Mud Pike passed through. Lewis Nugent traveled to Eaglesville. Milton Nugent and Otis Courtney went to Odon for the Teacher's exam. DA Rhuebottom D OH Courtney and Z A Phillips were at Plainville Sunday night.
Bloomer E. Myers, superintendent of Bicknell public schools, announced Andrew Carnegie proposed a 26500 gift for a town library. The condition is that the town provide a site and maintain the library. The offer is noteworthy for the Odon community presence.
