Grandma Cooper Dies After Weeks of Illness in Qton
Nancy Burks Cooper, known as Grandma Cooper, died at her home in west Qton after several weeks of ery sipelas and pneumonia fever. Born April 15 1842, she was 67 years, 5 months, and 22 days old. She left a large family including seven children, twenty grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and a sister. She joined the Christian church early at Wolf Creek, later at C ton, and was beloved by all. Funeral held Sunday at the Christian church with Rev. TH. A. Turney officiating. burial at Wedinut Hill cemetery.
