Small Pox Scare Abates As City Returns To Normal
The small pox scare in the city appears to be abating with no cases reported this week. Precautions were taken by authorities and many have been vaccinated, especially school children, reducing fear as public meetings may resume Wednesday if no new cases emerge.

Earl Roberts Dies of Spinal Meningitis at 7
Earl Roberts seven year old son of Mrs. John Roberts died Wednesday from spinal meningitis after falling ill Tuesday. Born October 17 1910 he was a Garten school pupil and member of the Little Light Bearers at the Methodist church. Funeral services were held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the M E church with Rev Koeth officiating and burial followed at Walnut Hill.
