Mrs Curtis Smiley Dies in Van Buren Township

Mrs Curtis Smiley longtime resident of Van Buren Township died last Monday morning at the Smiley home two miles west of St. Joseph church. A baby born Sunday before her death died after birth from complications. She was aged about 40, survived by husband Curtis Smiley, four children, a daughter and brother and a host of relatives. Funeral services were held at the Cumberland Presbyterian church and burial followed in Walnut Hill.
