The Count and the Low Boarder in a New York Park
In 1906 New York a boarder, Andy Donovan, pursues Miss Conway a mourning woman who pretends a deceased Italian count as fiancé. Donavan helps her cope with sorrow and a budding engagement grows from shared sadness and a forged romance. Maggie, a fellow boarder, confesses she lied about the count to seem stylish, but Andy forgives her and reveals his own affection and faith in their future.
