Strong Gas Flow Found on Reeve Township Farm
A strong gas flow was encountered Sunday on Austin Allen’s farm near Alfordsville. The well reached 465 feet with high pressure and lies close to a recently drilled hole near the Martin county line. DeWalt Oil & Gas Company operates the site and reports good quality gas powering their engine. They believe they are near a large vein and continue rapid development in the Reeve township field.

Whitlocks Win Bridge Contract for Leimone Township
The Whitlocks secured county contracts to build two bridges named Killion and Morr in Leimone township. Estimates and bids show John Dobbs of Elnora bid 8180 on Killion with Whitlocks at 8449, and on Mauve bridge Dobbs bid 320 with the successful bidder at 319. Work to start about July 20.

Standiford Danner Vows in Bogard Township Ceremony
