School Fund Distribution to Ten Townships and Corporations

County Auditor Daniel J. Myers will issue warrants for a total of 18,494.99 in common school and congressional interest revenue to ten township trustees and two school corporations, based on 8,244 children. Amounts listed include Barr 2304.77, Bogard 878.17, Elmore 1451.84, Harrison 919.79, Madison 663.53, Reeve 1019.15, Steele 1203.89, Veale 723.40, Van Buren 753.35, Washington 2683.95, and Washington and Colon school corporations at 5298.77 and 583.38 respectively. The per capita share is 2.17 with a semi-annual distribution in July and January.

The Mutual Improvement Circle met at Mrs. D. W. Hayes home on Wednesday afternoon to discuss art. Ophia Slinkard spoke on Indiana Artists of Earlier Days, Hayes spoke on Indiana as an Art Field, and William Bair presented Modern Photography. The next meeting will be at Mrs. J. W. Anderson's home next Wednesday.
