Death of Washington merchant Austin F Cabel at 62
Austin F. Cabel, president of Cabel & Kauffman Mercantile Co. of Washington, died in Milwaukee after a brief illness from Bright's disease. Born in 1852, he spent his life in Washington, built a thriving business, and leaves a large estate and several relatives. Leamon Cooper and Ernest Brady recently took over the grocery store. The skating rink opens today for children at 2 PM with free admission.
