Emily Wright died at 2 30 am Saturday at her daughter’s home in Plainville. Funeral service was held at the Methodist church in Plainville with burial in Plainville cemetery. Born March 5 1845 in Washington County she moved to Daviess County in 1860 and married John C Wright who died January 31 1866. Survived by two children Edward Wright and Mrs Millis both of Plainville four brothers and one sister. She was a member of the Plainville Methodist Episcopal church.

Prominent Citizen of Newberry Dies in Greene County
Alex Neff a respected Newberry citizen and Greene county pioneer settler died last Sunday. Born in New York City he came to Newberry as a child and spent his life there.
