The U B Church revival meetings continue Sunday with a special morning service for Sunday school children. All parishioners are urged to attend along with regular services. Corral invitation extended. Pastor W. L. Snyder.
The Methodist Episcopal Church advertises a 9:20 am school session, a 10:75 am preaching service with special music, and a 7:00 pm Sunday sermon. Jr. League meets at 1:30 pm. young people are urged to attend Sunday services. Prayer meeting Thursday, League Friday. Pastor C C Lowther leads.
Morning and evening worship with sermons on "God's Care for His Friends" and "The Conversion of a Cabinet Officer." Baptism at evening close. Teachers' training Friday at 7:15. Sunday School 9:30. Junior Endeavor 2:00. Evening service 7:00 Thursday. All welcome.
Trustee Yn Sims announces office hours and town business in Madison township. He will be at his office or about town on Fridays to handle township affairs and official business.
Hiram Sims trustee of Van Buren township and a noted Daviess county farmer has placed all property in trust with Ephraim Lomano of Washington for the benefit of creditors. The deed was recorded and awaits circuit court action after Lomano returns from Chicago. Sims claims township affairs are sound but reports to the county auditor are unsatisfactory and past due. Van Buren township owes a share of school revenues amounting to 1428.69 awaiting proper accounting.
