EPSOM Earl Ellis of Montgomery was here Saturday. Cicero Kiliion drove to the county seat Saturday. Theodore McCall spent the latter part of the week with his sister Mrs. Sarah Matheny of Washington. Charles Wilson motored to Elnora Monday. Harley Thomas of Cornettsville was here Monday. Henry Wathen drove to Plainville Tuesday. David W. Hodges formerly of this place died at Flora, NL last Friday at the home of his son, David, where he has lived the last three years. He is survived by his wife, nine children, one brother, two sisters and several grandchildren. He was past 85 years old. Funeral services were held at the VME church at Cornettsville last Monday with Rev. Deal in charge. burial was made in the adjoining cemetery.
