Odon Clothing Company hosted Harve Correll returning from a visit with Mr and Mrs Dean Correll in Lincoln Indiana. Several local families including the Baile and Ledgerwood clans visited relatives and celebrated Mrs Jane Baile’s 76th birthday with a friendly dinner and gifts.

A M Reek launched a business twip to Lyoos on Tuesday and featured leading magazines for sale at the Rexall Store.
Carl V Bricker 23 of Indianapolis faced federal charges in Arizona forging post office money orders. He was jailed in Marion County after a Kingman pursuit and a Jan 31 arrest in Edwardsport. The Plainville robbery cases led Sheriff raids recovering goods and arresting Paul King and William Purcell.
Saturday and Sunday visits feature Dyal Wadsworth in Terre Haute and relatives including the Overton Riggins and Swayze families visiting from Lafayette Connersville Newberry and Iowa. A birth is reported January 25 a son to Mrs Oral Riggins.
Shiloh welcomed a son to Mr and Mrs Jessie Chestnut. Megin Harper visited Linton. Miss Ruby Monts returned from Evansville. Alva Kirk spent time with friends near Elnora. Miss Brady Reynolds visited from Oolon. Herschel Monts came home from Rawson Illinois. Daisy Roach and Hazel spent time with Mrs Orpha Byer. Wide Ketchem from Elnora visited sister Mrs Martha Clinton. Mrs Sarah Chestnut and Mary Christy visited Mrs Ben Chestnut. Damon Flynn of Edwardsport stayed with relatives. Attendees at Grandma Faith funeral included Frank Warren Washington Jake Standly Montgomery Alf Myers Huron. Born to Mrs Oral Riggins January 20. SOR F Tisseron of Evansville visited friends. J M Clinton of New York and Flora Clinton of Washington DC called on Martha Clinton who is ill.
Mrs Malinda Faith aged 82 died at her home southwest of the city last Saturday from general debility Born February 17 1838 in Martin County she married Samuel W Poindexter in 1856 he died in 1857 and she later married Thomas C Faith She left four surviving children two sisters and many grandchildren and great grandchildren The funeral was held at the residence Sunday at 9 30 am Rev E F Shake officiating Burial in Epsom cemetery Rexall promo and fruit gift note included.
R T Tolliver and Mrs Mary Williams married last Wednesday in St Louis with Alfred F Smith D D officiating. The couple met in Terre Haute and plan to reside in South Odon after a brief Evansville visit with Tolliver’s brother Dr W J Tolliver. Their little daughter Kathleen Lorene served as bridesmaid.
Ex service men are asked to attend the regular meeting of Odon Post 293 American Legion in their hall on Tuesday February 15 at 7 30 PM Refreshments will be served Mrs John Odell celebrated her 65th birthday with a pleasant surprise party hosted by relatives and children wishing many more happy anniversaries
