Mary Mune Williams wed Charlie Omer Villama at three in McCameron Township home of her parents Mr and Mrs John K Summerville. About forty guests attended the ceremony officiated by Ed C W Buchanan. The couple plan to reside in Durma City.

Danier Wedding Anniversary Celebrated In Danier's Hall

Sunday evening at five o clock Mr and Mrs W J Danier marked their twentieth wedding anniversary in Danier's Hall. The hall was beautifully decorated for the occasion with U B orchestra providing instrumental music and Mrs Wm Pensiozer Miss Lillie Danner and Miss Hen Pierson singing. A duet by Mable Ellen Penosinger and Enerat Danner delighted guests. Rev John Breder who helped marry the couple twenty years ago attended the event.

Beeden Faithful Service Recalled in School Leadership Change

The notice honors C A Beeden for faithful service as superintendent of the seven Sundays showl, noting years of diligent teaching and administration. At a carpet ceremony, he relinquished duties and Dean Logan was elected to succeed him as superintendent and dean.

Christmas entertainment at the Ossiratian Church Saturday evening drew a good crowd. The U B people presented the cantata Counterfeit Sacra Claus at Borat Dasner's Opera House Moodas night. Children' drills were especially good thanks to Mrs Elmer Bunch's careful guidance.

Mrs A S Waggoner Died Suddenlly At Home

Mrs A S Waggoner of the area died suddenly Saturday night after a day of apparent health. Coroner Banham ruled death by apoplexy. Born Mary Garten June 15 1846 she leaves a husband mother and three stepsons. Funeral services were at Good Hope with interment at Walnut Hill Cemetery.

Gravel Road Bonds in Madison Township Rejected

An Indianapolis firm refused to accept Madison township gravel road bonds sold for about 811,000 citing insufficient notice for the Scoy petition extension. Wirt petition notice was given but the two petitions were merged without consent, making bonds valueless. County Attorney Mattingly calls it a clerical error and seeks a fix.

County Board Sets Teacher Qualification Resolution

The County Board of Education unanimously passed a resolution requiring applicants to be licensed by the June exam and meet county rules for teacher qualifications.
