Death claims Odon's well known citizen Reason Bair
Reason Bair died after a long illness on Tuesday at age 61. Born July 23, 1850, he married Phoebe Ajishouse in 1873 and had five children. after Phoebe's death he remarried Selista A. Zigler in 1890, who survives with four children. Funeral at GUOB church led by Rev. L. L. Schoonover with burial at Walnut Hill.

Pearl Found in Dried Oysters at Local Eatery
Summers of Parr township found a pearl in dried oysters bought for dinner at Foust's restaurant. A jeweler valued the find near 25 dollars. The pearl is about half the size of a pea. Rev. G P Crawford traveled to Lincoln Tuesday.
