Joseph Dearmin a former Odon boy married Miss Edna Pearl O Maley at Plainville on Thursday December 24 at 7 30 pm. The bride is daughter of Charles O Maley of Plainville and a noted young woman. Mr Dearmin is son of William Dearmin of Elnora who formerly resided in Odon and is well known locally.
The Southern Indiana Railway offers one and a half fare round trips with minimums of 50 and 60 cents. Holiday sale dates are December 24 25 for Christmas and December 31 2008 and January 1 1906 for New Year. Return limits are December 28 and January 4 1909 respectively.

Albert W. Malone died Sunday morning December 13 at Dexter Missouri. A longtime farmer near Odon he was a United Brethren church member and noted for his Christian character. Illness from epilepsy worsened after 1908. He was buried at Dexter.
Arthur B. Dillon and Miss Caddie Blanche Dobbs of Elmore township married last Saturday in Indianapolis. Dillon a schoolteacher and prominent local man. Dobbs daughter of hardware dealer John Dobbs of Elnora and a millinery businesswoman with wide circle of friends. The couple’s license was published in the Indianapolis News on Monday. For sale based hay at the tile factory.
Noting a posted land trespass warning, a list of local farmers from Madison township Davess County Indiana declares they will prosecute anyone hunting or trespassing on their lands. The document names numerous residents including Milo Smiley J M Ledgerwood Eph Collins Harve Ward John W O Dell Harvey Smiley James Neeri emer Jacob Winklepleck and others.
Mrs W J Danner entertained the Thimbleclub and their husbands on Friday evening December 18. The house wore crimson and cream colors as guests enjoyed progressive games a three course luncheon and a cake revealing Mr Danner s forty six birthday. Guests departed late praising the hostess and wishing many happy returns.
County Clerk Yoho of Bloomfield issued a marriage license Monday to Waiter Grow of Odon and Miss Louvena Sullivan of Mr Apears.
