Funeral of Mitchell Fisher in Odon Hails Local Citizen
Mitchell Fisher retired merchant and longtime Odon resident died at his north Odon home last Saturday afternoon after a lingering illness from appendicitis. Born September 22, 1864 in Johnson county he moved to Odon in 1897, married Elizabeth Ireeman in 1911, and left a wife three brothers one sister and many relatives. Funeral was held Monday at the U B church with Masonic rites at Walnut Hill cemetery.
