Death of Hildred Stout in Indiana Church Died at Home after Illness

Hildred deanor Stout 17 of Eaglesville born April 30 1901 died last Monday afternoon in Terre Haute from pneumonia complicating influenza. She was daughter of Oliver and Mrs Stout former city residents and member of Glen M E church. She attended Odon High School last year and is survived by her father and a sister. Services to be held at a local church with Rev. Shake presiding.

influenza situation shows no rise in cases countywide

The influenza epidemic shows no increase in cases from last week with many patients recovering enough to be out. Schools remain closed countywide and churches keep services. Several named residents recover or remain ill, including Rev Roberts and Mr ArcCoy, as overall conditions improve.

Indianapolis man dies of flu and pneumonia at home

Fred A. McCallian of Indianapolis died at his home, 1420 North Tuxedo, from influenza and pneumonia. He was 32, son of R. J. McCallian, and had been ill two weeks. He led the Mens Bible Class and was a member of Local 1 of a prominent union. He is survived by his wife, two children, his father, two sisters, and other relatives. Funeral services were held at his home and at the East Tenth Church with ministers officiating.
