Charles Boyd faced a serious injury Monday morning after a log rolled on the skid and a chain loop dragged him. He was hurled between logs but narrowly escaped fatal harm as witnesses called it a near miss and doctors feared for his recovery. The Linton team led by Susie Masgan former district deputy displayed strong drill. Next year’s convention will be in Linton Sandborn or Odon.
