Mrs Chestnut Dead Aged Resident Of Epsom
Mrs. Harriett Chestnut widow of Felix Chestnut died at her home east of Epsom from pneumonia fever. Born August 8 1844 in Daviess County Indiana she was 70 years 7 months 13 days old. She leaves five children and two sons preceded in death. Burial Friday in Eaglesville cemetery with Rev Henry Flora conducting services.

Smiley Injured in Collision at Lawrenceville Ill
B J Smiley of Indianapolis and two Vincennes liverymen had a narrow escape when a Ford auto they rode in was struck by a Big Four switch engine in Lawrenceville at about 8:30 this morning. Smiley suffered a broken arm and severe bruises while McCloskey and Kail escaped with scratches. The car was essentially demolished.
