Appeals court upholds Alabama sex toy ban stance
A federal appeals court overturned a district court finding that Alabama's ban on selling sex toys was unconstitutional. The 11th Circuit sent the case back for reconsideration, saying the law is rationally related to public morality and urged further checks on other potential constitutional issues. The statute bans selling devices designed for genital stimulation, a misdemeanor with up to one year in jail and a $10,000 fine.
