Saudi commandos free hostages after deadly oil compound attack
Islamic militants seized up to 60 foreigners at an oil industry complex in Saudi Arabia, killing 22 and wounding many. Saudi forces stormed the Oasis facility, killing at least one militant and freeing captives as authorities evacuated 242 people. The attack raised fears of higher oil prices and posed a new challenge to Riyadh’s crackdown on militants.
