Latigo Petroleum's private purchase, Clayton Williams’ $188 million Southwest Royalties deal, Forest Oil’s $330 million Wiser Oil buy, and ExxonMobil's transfers to Apache totaling hundreds of millions drive expectations of significant drilling in the Central Permian and broader Midland economy.
