Odessa officer plans return to public service after defense fund support
Officer Danny Cook, indicted but buoyed by community aid, says the defense fund started by his 14 year old nephew Trevor and a Louisville police network, along with many supporters, kept him focused. He describes the site www.dcdefenseky.com and notes retirement cash used in his nephew’s private venture eroded, leaving him seeking odd jobs. He plans to resume law enforcement or investigative work and sees the ordeal as strengthening his faith and moral outlook.
