Universities team on water research in West Texas
A consortium of Sul Ross State University Southwest Texas State University Angelo State University Lamar University and Sam Houston State University will study water issues in far West Texas and the Rio Grande. The project named Sustainable Agricultural Water Conservation and the Rio Grande Basin seeks more data to map aquifers and water rights across the region with support from the U S Department of Agriculture.
