Down Home in a Missile Silo Home in Wyoming
Francis and Morris Daellenbach live in a former Atlas missile silo near Chugwater Wyoming. Since 1967 they converted the control room into a living space and keep a shop inside the silo complex while storing boats cars and antiques in the adjacent silo. The family uses an elevator entry and a 125 foot tunnel remaining from the base era and maintains the heavy concrete walls and a 35 ton door that still functions.
