City boys learn life in wagon

A VisionQuest wagon train in West Texas educates city youths through hard work and teamwork. Johnny, a 15 year old from Franklin, Pa., chose the voyage over jail, joining 28 boys and 4 girls with 20 counselors. The program, begun Sept 30, 1982, travels from Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Michigan into rugged terrain, teaching responsibility amid wind, tepees, and rough language as they care for horses and build a life on the trail.
