Brownsville School Board trip to NSBA costs taxpayers big
Brownsville Independent School District spent 16312 for lodging for four trustees and one administrator to attend the NSBA conference in Orlando. The group booked seven packages at the Contemporary Resort, including theme park passes, with refunds and reimbursements reducing the final figure. The district says charges were paid with local tax dollars and kept within a 50,000 travel budget, though details remain disputed.
