Stock Market Holds Most Of Early Gains

Briley Pleads Guilty to Drunken Driving Charge

Harold Ed Briley, 48, of 305 McKnight, was fined 200 dollars after pleading guilty in 70th District Court to a second offense charge of driving while intoxicated. He was arrested March 17 on a drunken driving charge and records show a prior misdemeanor drunken driving conviction in County Court. District Attorney John Green led the case. Briley was represented by Walter Wilson of Odessa.

Odessan Charged With Burglary

A second suspect faces burglary charges in the weekend break in at Kang L Motor Co. Ramon Acosta, 19, of 118 West Pearl, remains jailed on a 5000 bond. Manuel Sanchez of Midland is not in custody.
