Wilsons endure tornado flood damage in New Caney
In May 20 superstorm events, the Wilson family of New Caney faced a tornado uprooting a 40 foot oak that ripped through their roof and flooded their home. Charles Linda and children Mary Jo and Danny salvaged what remained as officials reported multi county losses topping 400 million dollars. The family relocated to relatives while Red Cross aid aided groceries and materials. Wilson rebuilt with help from friends, pledging to return and rebuild their forested neighborhood despite missing furniture and clothes.
