Dynegy execs charged in fraud and conspiracy case
Three Dynegy Inc. executives including Jamie Olis Gene Shannon Fos and Helen Christine Key face federal charges of conspiracy securities fraud and wire fraud for accounting schemes to boost cash flow and reduce taxes. The case ties to a $300 million project with ABG Gas Supply LLC that the SEC says should have shown as financing and not cash flow. Dynegy settled with the SEC in September over related issues and restated its finances.
