Priest links Shroud of Turin coin to Jesus era
Rev Francis Filas of Loyola University says new computer analysis of Shroud photos places a coin over the right eye dating 29 to 32 A.D. The coin, bearing an astrologer's staff with Greek letters, supports a Pontius Pilate issued coin from the crucifixion period, suggesting contemporary burial practices.
