Huge black bear on its way home spotted in Kentucky
A 300 pound black bear seen wandering near Aurora, Kentucky, is described by Bill Graves of the Fish and Wildlife Resources as just passing through on its way home. The bear reportedly traveled from Arkansas, swam the Mississippi River to Tennessee, and entered Kentucky last weekend. He expects the animal will cross the Ohio River and head toward Illinois or Missouri.
