Army blast at Radford Arsenal kills worker and injures many

A board of inquiry will examine the Radford Army Ammunition plant blast that destroyed a 650 square foot nitroglycerin storage building. One worker, Rufus Marshall, was killed instantly and up to 30 injured. The blast created a mushroom cloud and caused $1 million in damage.
