Rings Around Neptune Question Claim of Two Close Rings
Scientists from Villanova report evidence of at least two narrow rings around Neptune based on 1968 data and star-light variations. They estimate ring heights around 1,800 and 4,200 miles above the cloud tops, noting confirmation pending and future checks by Australian observers and Voyager 2 flyby possibilities.
