Dallas reports show Ross Perot used his influence in a rent dispute to persuade a Dallas judge two years ago to permit an unlimited eviction of a rental house during a confrontation with the tenant. The account comes from court records and participants.
In a 1990 suit, Ross Perot employed off duty Dallas officers to conduct three daily searches at a house next to his estate for about ten days amid a rent dispute with tenant H Wayne Hayes Jr. A judge allowed three timed searches under a restraining order. Hayes, living in Hawaii, later pleaded guilty to mail fraud and faced additional charges.
