NASA gave the go for a 1:38 p.m. CDT launch of Discovery on July Fourth from Cape Canaveral. Spokeswoman Lisa Malone said the mission was a go amid worries about a 3 inch foam piece that broke off the exterior tank, with risk assessment noting ice buildup after Sunday rain.
